Position:

Visiting Instructor in Accounting (non-tenure track position)

 

Salary:

Job Duties:

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate and maintain a commitment to teaching, and participating in service activities. Applicants are expected to be versatile, with an ability and willingness to teach a variety of courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting and intermediate accounting. Individuals applying for this position may have teaching interests in any area of accounting. Applicants must be willing to teach evening courses if assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must hold an earned Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Accounting for undergraduate course curriculum. For a graduate course curriculum, a Ph.D. degree in Accounting from an accredited institution is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

An earned doctorate in Accounting with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Accounting from an accredited institution.

CPA or CMA licensed professional.

Professional experience in public accounting.
