Lecturer or Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology
or Human Services
Lander University
Lander University invites applicants for a Lecturer or Clinical
Assistant Professor of Psychology or Human Services (faculty rank
and disciplinary orientation depend upon credentials) to begin in
August 2021. A master’s degree in psychology, human services, or
appropriate sub-field of these disciplines is required, although
candidates with a doctoral degree in clinical/ counseling
psychology or human services are preferred. Preference is also
given to candidates with a license or who are pursuing licensure in
their field of specialization. Applicants should have credentials
to teach a variety of courses within the Human Services and/or
Psychology majors.
University-level teaching experience is required, with a preference
for persons who have taught face to face, hybrid, and online
courses. Lander University’s Center for Online and Innovative
Learning supports on-going training for faculty. The teaching
load for this position is either 27 or 30 hours a year, depending
upon the level of service in advising or program development
provided to the Department. This position would involve
teaching at the main campus as well as online. Summer teaching
assignments are available.
The Department of Psychological Science and Human Services is a
part of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and offers
B.S. degrees in both Human Services and Psychology as well as
minors in child and family studies, human services, and
psychology.
