Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job

The successful candidate is expected to teach core courses in the department’s academic degree programs, have an active research agenda, and demonstrate a commitment to quality teaching and mentoring of students.

Educational Requirements for the Position

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related academic field, such as Psychology, Sociology, Black Studies, Latinx Studies, and Women’s Studies. ABD will be considered.

Experience Required for the Position

The successful candidate will have expertise and a research agenda concentrated on the intersections of race and justice.
