Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology is seeking to hire a Post-Doctoral Fellow. The Post-Doctoral Fellowship is a one year assignment. The Fellow will be expected to teach courses within their scope of expertise. The Fellow will be expected to teach the equivalent of 3 courses each semester (fall 2021 and spring 2022). The individual selected for the position will report directly to the Department Chair and will also work closely with the Assistant Chair, Graduate Program Director, and students.
The Fellow is expected to submit a detailed report at the end of each semester providing an overview of what they accomplished with respect to teaching, research, and service. The Fellow is expected to attend all department meetings and events.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, or a closely related academic field; ABD applicants will also be considered.
