Part-time Faculty: Nursing Clinicals, #31913

St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, nestled in the heart of growing St. Charles County. Established in 1986, SCC is a public, comprehensive two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC also provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.

SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time faculty position to teach nursing clinicals. Part-time appointments are made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis. St. Charles Community College is continuously seeking qualified individuals to fill part-time clinical faculty positions.

This posting is designed to build a pool of qualified faculty as open positions arise. Course availability, clinical site, and hours vary. Applicants may be contacted if their qualifications match a particular open clinical rotation.

Clinical areas may include:

• Fundamentals
• Medical Surgical
• Critical Care
• Pediatrics
• Obstetrics
• Mental Health

Minimum Qualifications: Qualified candidates must hold an unencumbered Missouri nursing license with no history of discipline in any jurisdiction and a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing; master's degree in nursing is preferred.

Experience: Applicants should have a minimum of 1-year clinical bedside experience in nursing.
