Teaching: Teach four courses per semester at undergraduate and graduate levels in the area of flamenco and/or spanish dance technique. Ability to teach one or more of the following is required: Flamenco technique to all four levels; Spanish folkdance; Escuela Bolera and Danza Estilizada; flamenco choreography; flamenco improvisation.
Service: Collaborate with faculty and lead initiatives regarding development of undergraduate and graduate dance curriculum and building strong degrees; mentor and advise undergraduate dance majors; advise graduate students and serve on thesis and dissertation committees; mentor undergraduate and graduate choreography and research projects; co-direct flamenco repertory ensemble; participate in Dance Program administration, including meetings, the annual Dance Major Audition, recruitment activities, etc.
