Position Summary:

This position will work directly with principal investigator(s) and/or research program director(s) to carry out research administrative functions related to sponsored grants, agreements, or award management (proposal preparation through closeout). General responsibilities include:
Guides and assists researchers with interpretation of policy and procedure related to overall sponsored project management.
Assists researchers by preparing non-technical materials for proposals, drafting contracts or agreements for review, and/or advising award setup.
Assists researchers with preparing and/or maintaining documentation, financial management, and/or reporting requirements related to sponsored grants, contracts, or agreements.
May identify funding opportunities and disseminate to principal investigators.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Research administration experience (three plus years preferred).
Preferred candidate to have proposal and grants managment expertise for federal awards (NIH, USDA, NSF, DOD).Particular expertise in NIH Training grants applications and management preferred.
