Position Summary:

SuccessWorks at the College of Letters & Science is transforming the ways in which L&S prepares its undergraduates for life-long success. A new personal and professional development center, SuccessWorks is positioned to support L&S students as they explore their interests and aspirations, engage in career exploration and development, and prepare to leave the UW for a rewarding career and satisfying life.

The Administrative Manager reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing executive leadership support and managing the core operations for the office. We are looking for a highly collaborative individual who has a keen eye for evaluating and improving systems, thrives in supporting others, and has a "can do" attitude.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelors Degree required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a complex administrative role in higher education administration, HR, operations, student services, or other relevant field.

Candidates must possess:
-Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
-A record of success managing complex projects
-Successful track record of managing expenses and budgets
-An ability to work collaboratively with numerous stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds

Successful candidates will have the following preferred knowledge or experiences:
-Direct support of a unit or divisional director
-Experience delivering high quality customer service
-Experience working with student services
-Donor stewardship experience
-Student staff supervision
