Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION(S): Provides meaningful instruction in PE. Establishes effective rapport with students and manages lessons effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executes an effective physical education program for students in Grades 3 - 6 in both a remote and in-person model. Creates an environment that is conducive to learning. Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required. Teacher licensure preferred. At least one year of experience teaching physical education of physical activity-based programs to students in grades K-6 preferred.

Skills: Knowledge of physical education curriculum and relevant pedagogies. Strong organizational skills. Able to work effectively with a wide range of students and adults and as a member of a team.
