Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

ability to work with a diverse population. Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual
with excellent analytical, critical thinking and interpersonal skills to assist the Chief Information
Officer in managing the daily logistical aspects of the department. This includes, but is not limited
to, assisting with budget preparation, tracking of invoices, purchase orders and other budget
related matters as assigned; coordinate calendars; maintain and report time and attendance for
the office. Some other duties include preparation and creation of documents; create and maintain
committee and project files; and assist with special projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Performs clerical duties of complex and confidential nature, such as; composing and
    editing correspondence, reports, contracts, spreadsheets, and charts, etc.;
  • Assists and confers with MassBay faculty and staff to support effective operations for the
    Office;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments simultaneously;
  • Performs routine office related administrative duties such as order supplies, answer phone,
    schedule meetings, greet visitors and provide assistance or make referrals to appropriate
    staff;
  • Receives and distributes incoming mail;
    Maintains confidentiality of client and organizational information;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on assigned projects;
  • Actively participates as an effective member of the department team by completing
    assigned duties, accepting additional assignments or reassignments and seeking
    additional education or information regarding related skills;
  • Friendly, pleasant disposition with the ability to work well with others;
  • Performs other duties of lesser, equal or greater responsibility;
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree required from an accredited institution;
  • Proficient in the latest Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access;
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Must have the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred;
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft Finance;
  • Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action and workforce diversity;
  • Experience working in a diverse environment;
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved students.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $20.00 - 20.00 Hourly Wage
Classification Type: Regular Employee
