Job Description
The Civil Engineering department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach is seeking Assistant Professor (tenure track) candidates in the Geotechnical Engineering area. The selected faculty member is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in geotechnical engineering; develop an externally funded research program; supervise graduate students; and publish in refereed journals. The selected candidate is expected to engage in service activities with professional organizations and the University.
Qualifications
PhD required. Candidate with research interest and background in applying artificial intelligence and data science to geotechnical and infrastructure engineering, risk and reliability assessment of geotechnical components, etc. will be especially preferred.
