Position Function

Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Planning and Management, the university Registrar serves as the senior leader of the Office of the Registrar and member of the Enrollment Planning and Management leadership team. The university Registrar supports the academic enterprise, advancing academic initiatives and creating an administrative structure that promotes student success while maintaining a focus on student service; serves as the steward of university policies and processes related to the support of academic units; and establishes effective relationships with faculty and academic partners across campus collaborating on issues relating to curriculum, university policies, reporting needs and other areas of registrar responsibilities.

Minimum Education

Master’s degree in higher education or related field from an accredited college or university.

Minimum Experience

Significant, documented, progressively responsible experience in a leadership position within a university Registrar’s Office.

Minimum Other

Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with other administrators, instructors, students, other educational institution officers, government agencies and the general public; outstanding organizational skills and the ability to coordinate systems and processes while engaging other stakeholders.

Preferred Education

Preferred Experience

Five years of experience as a Registrar working in an enrollment management environment at a mid to large size university. Experience using Banner Student Information System.
