The Department of Philosophy at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, two-year position in Philosophy at the level of Assistant Professor, to begin August 2021. Area of specialization is philosophy of race or strong area of concentration in philosophy of race, with the ability to teach courses in ethics or political philosophy. The teaching load is six courses per year. We are looking for candidates who have an appreciation for teaching philosophy in a liberal arts setting and an ability to teach Phil 255 Race and Social Justice. Completion of a PhD by September 2021 is required.
