Special Instructor of Computer Science and Information Technology

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering invites applications for two special instructor positions to begin on August 15, 2021. We are primarily seeking candidates who will be teaching undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Information Technology. These positions also require engagement in outreach programs and institutional and public service. Applicants must have a completed PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields by the beginning date of employment. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, ability to teach introductory computer science and information technology courses including programming courses, and willingness to learn new teaching techniques and technologies. College teaching experience in computer science or information technology is preferred. Candidates should have an appreciation of and commitment to the value of diversity and working with a diverse faculty and student body.Applicants must have a completed PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related fields by the beginning date of employment.
