Assistant Professor of Recreation, Tourism and Therapeutic Recreation (RTTR)

Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Recreation, Tourism and Therapeutic Recreation (RTTR). This position is a probationary/tenure-track appointment with an expected start date of August 16, 2021. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for (1) teaching courses that would include, but are not limited to, COPART based content and one of the other subfields: Therapeutic Recreation OR Tourism and Commercial Recreation; (2) Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field; (3) instructing courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs; and (3) assisting with COPART accreditation. Minimum qualifications for this position are earned doctorate in leisure and recreation studies.  Note that if your subfield is Therapeutic Recreation, CTRS is required.
