Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of the UW E-Business Consortium (UWEBC), the Marketing Practice Director assists in the development and execution of collaborative learning, applied research, and industry outreach initiatives of the UWEBC (uwebc.wisc.edu), a multidisciplinary unit with membership from a variety of companies and organizations. This person will assist in defining the objectives of the Marketing practice area and will be responsible for leading several concurrent initiatives, providing day-to-day leadership and expertise, and the planning and execution of activities in the Marketing practice area.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required in business, marketing, or related field

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

7 years relevant post-baccalaureate professional work experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce required

Experience involving management consulting, project leadership and coordination, group facilitation, or instruction is required

Strong business writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required

Functional marketing leadership and management experience preferred

Experience positively contributing to performance and budget targets preferred
