Responsibilities
The Club Sports Coach will work with Campus Recreation Staff to develop, promote and foster a positive team environment. Work with Campus Recreation Staff and Club Team Leaders to direct all aspects of the club sport including, recruiting, practice planning & implementation, competition scheduling & strategy, fundraising, marketing, working within a budget, and promoting academic success, and will;

1. Build a positive and cohesive team culture.
2. Develop practice plans and competition strategies.
3. Work with Student Leaders on administrative functions for the program.
4. Communicate with Campus Recreation Staff on administrative functions for the program including scheduling, marketing, eligibility, fundraising, travel, budgeting, purchasing, etc.

Experience and Qualifications
Experience:
2-3 years of high school, club, or collegiate sport. 1-2 years of coaching experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities:
Written and verbal skills, ability to abide by all of the college and department policies and procedures.
