Landmark College seeks individuals to join our Career Connections team. The Landmark College Career Readiness Outreach Coordinator is a full-time staff member who works collaboratively with the Career Connections team and Landmark College faculty to develop a comprehensive Career Readiness program that is data-driven and accessible for all Landmark College students. The Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Career Connections webpage and outreach materials, delivering career-related events and workshops, developing resources for students, alumni, faculty, and staff in the areas of career and financial literacy, both face to face and online, and collecting assessment and reporting data related to needs assessment, program goals, student learning outcomes, and alumni career placement.

The Career Readiness Outreach Coordinator will also work with Landmark College students both individually and as part of a group advisory cohort to mentor students through the career readiness process. This includes but is not limited to assisting students in selecting a field of study and identifying career interests, developing an academic plan that aligns with career interests, attaining an internship or job through the development of cover letters, resumes, and interview skills and/or managing the college transfer or graduate school process.

The qualified candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. The best candidate will have robust organizational skills and proficiency/comfort working with online communication tools. The position requires regular interaction with Faculty, Staff, Students, and Employers. The position includes the ability to represent Landmark College professionally in all interaction and be able to responsibly handle confidential/sensitive information is critical. An understanding of learning difference, FERPA, ADA law, and other laws/regulations that pertain to working with college students is preferred. This is a salaried and exempt position which may require working weekends and after-hours as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s degree in Guidance, Counseling, Coaching or a related field, and a familiarity with higher education career services support and experience designing and developing career oriented instructional materials is required. Knowledge of career and financial literacy best practices is preferred.  Strong data literacy and web development skills are preferred.
