Position Summary:

The Director of ICTR Research Networks is responsible for providing leadership for the use of multi-site clinical trial networks, supporting the Investigator Community of Practice (COP) and furthering the development of key opinion leaders in our organization, and supporting regulatory activities (Data Monitoring Committee, MARCH DSMB and the ICTR Scientific Review Committees). The incumbent will participate as an active member of ICTR leadership and the clinical trials teams, representing their combined interests by participating in strategic planning, goal setting, and implementation of the infrastructure, processes and systems to support efficient and high-quality clinical research at UW-Madison and UW Health and ICTR networks.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Master's degree required. Focus in biomedical or health sciences preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

-Minimum of 10 or more years of leadership experience in directing, organizing, and establishing clinical research programs required.
-Minimum 5 years of experience within an academic health care setting required.
-Prior supervisory experience required.
-Knowledge of translational research continuum (T0-T5) and familiarity navigating different research sites and settings preferred.
-Previous involvement with NIH's Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program highly desirable.
