The chemistry department at Salve Regina University is seeking a highly qualified and motivated instructor to teach Environmental Chemistry course and/or lab in a small liberal arts University, this spring 2021. This position may also become available in future. The instructor is expected to support the university's vision of becoming a catholic university of distinction. The university is located in scenic Newport, Rhode Island.
A minimum of a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field and other appropriate credentials, if applicable. Ph.D in Chemistry preferred.
- Experience teaching environmental chemistry
- An ability to teach lecture during the day at the scheduled class times, and/or lab in the evening
- Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning
- Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas
