The Erskine College Biology Department invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor beginning in August 2021, or possibly January 2021 if applicant is available. We seek a broadly trained Ph.D. with previous undergraduate teaching experience and genuine enthusiasm for teaching and research in an undergraduate liberal arts environment. Teaching load (24 credit hours per year) includes a combination of introductory biology courses for majors or non-majors and courses in the field of specialty. Additional responsibilities include student advising, curriculum development, and departmental, institutional, and church/community service.
