Position Summary:

This position works under the general supervision of the Security Supervisor to achieve organized and efficient daily operation of either the Stadium Command Center at Camp Randall Stadium or Arena Control Office at the Kohl Center. This position requires: the monitoring and operation of all life safety systems, monitoring and operation of all automated building controls in Camp Randall Stadium or Kohl Center complexes, operation and monitoring of the CCTV cameras within the assigned facilities and surrounding areas, assisting with upkeep of the hard key inventory for associated athletic facilities (which may include issuing keys to coaches, staff and service personnel and logging issued and returned keys), maintaining personnel card access database, assisting with security requests around the Stadium or Kohl Center and general office duties as assigned. Additional duties also include: overseeing loading dock operations, check-in of deliveries, and delivering mail to offices.

Good public relations and communication skills are imperative due to the extent of interaction with the customers and staff. This position functions closely with other staff and departments to work as a team, but also requires the ability to work and make decisions independently.

Staff will serve as role models by practicing exemplary behaviors when working with customers and fellow staff members. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, other departments and the public.

10. Knowledge of the operation of fire alarm monitoring equipment.
11. Knowledge of the operation of digital automated building controls.
12. Skills in using and maintaining cameras, and other devices for recording, analyzing and summarizing information.
13. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, internal and external customers.
14. Ability to give directions and/or instructions in a clear, concise and courteous manner.
15. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
16. Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and proper manner in accordance with Wisconsin's driving laws
