Position Summary:

Teach a maximum of six classes per academic year. The instructor will be responsible for preparing course syllabi, adapting
teaching material, preparing lessons, holding office hours, evaluating student performance.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Candidates with a PhD or equivalent in Scandinavian Studies or related field in hand at the time of application preferred; PhD or equivalent in hand by the start of the appointment (August 23, 2021) required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

One year minimum of teaching experience at a college or university in the US or Canada required. Experience teaching Danish required. Native or near-native proficiency in Danish and English required. Experience in teaching high enrollment classes in related areas of study preferred.
