Job Summary
Oversee, facilitate, coordinate and organize Student-Athlete Enhancement areas of Community Engagement, Leadership Advancement, and Personal Enhancement for student-athletes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Collaborate with on-campus advisors to ensure all courses are degree applicable
  • Lead efforts to offer innovative, high quality and cost effective support programs/services to student-athletes
  • Conduct needs analysis to identify areas requiring additional resources
  • Supervise and monitor academic progress and eligibility of student-athletes by NCAA, conference and University guidelines
  • Will serve as the main advisor for two to three athletic teams.
  • Will serve on various committees across campus
  • Supervise/train full time staff members, graduate assistants, and student workers.
  • Refer student to offices of specialized services when appropriate.
  • Work with coaches, faculty, and staff to facilitate the success of assigned student-athletes

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience
  • Six (6) years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's Degree

Preferred Experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in Student Affairs, Student Athlete Development or Athletic Academic Advising
  • Supervisory experience

Proposed Salary
$50,000 - $61,000
