The successful candidate will serve as Production Manager/Technical Director for the TTU Theatre program and oversee the technical aspects of the department’s three annual theatrical productions. The standard teaching load in the department is 4/4. The successful candidate will usually teach one section of Introduction to Theatre (THEA 1030) in the fall, one course in scenic/lighting design, either Stagecraft I or II and receive one course release time for overseeing students who work on the technical aspects of the fall production. In the spring, the person in this position will commonly teach one section of THEA 1030, one course in stagecraft, one course in either design or an area commensurate with their expertise and receive one course release time for overseeing technical aspects of the spring productions. There is also the possibility of teaching courses in other areas of theatre as well as directing opportunities.
