The Olin Business School is seeking to fill a full-time teaching faculty position in managerial communication. Primary responsibilities are teaching courses at the MS level.  Teaching faculty typically teach 6 semester-length courses a year.  

Qualifications

Candidates must have a doctoral degree (preferred) in business communication, professional communication, technical communication, rhetoric, or other related disciplines. Preference will be given to applicants with proven, effective, teaching experience in a business or professional graduate school.  Other desirable qualifications include: experience teaching international students, training in TESL, expertise in business writing, and  the ability to develop and teach online courses. While research is not the primary purpose of this position, preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated record of research. Lecturers teach multi-section courses and collaborate extensively on curriculum development and assignments. 

SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with experience, academic qualifications, and teaching load.

APPOINTMENT: This is a full-time, teaching, faculty appointment starting with the 2021-22 academic year. There may be an opportunity to start in Summer 2021.
