The Department of Nursing is one of two departments in the School of Health Professions. Our undergraduate RN to BSN program and MSN programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The successful candidates will have a strong clinical background in nursing practice, with an interest in advanced practice nursing, nursing education, clinical nurse leader and nursing management, and will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in nursing.

Other responsibilities include advancing the mission of the department by contributing to the development of new and innovative programs in nursing, workforce development and inter-professional education, as well as service to the department, college, university, and community. Online teaching and/or off-campus teaching is required. One position will include coordination of the RN-BSN program, and candidates with experience or interest in coordinating RN-BSN Programs are encouraged to apply.

Candidates for this position are required to have at least a master's degree in nursing, experience in nursing education, experience in advanced nursing practice, and an established record of teaching, service, and clinical supervision of students. A doctorate in nursing (PhD, DNP, or EdD) or related discipline is preferred.

Upon offer of employment, candidates will need to obtain a NJ RN license, if not already licensed in NJ.
