Purpose of Position

The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a renewable non-tenure track lecture position beginning Fall 2021.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidates should demonstrate commitment and/or experience promoting and fostering a learning environment that is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a renewable non-tenure track lecture position beginning Fall 2021.

Primary teaching responsibilities include Human Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology. Human cadaver experience is desirable. Other courses may be developed based on candidate’s background and preference. Candidates should have an interest in developing outreach programs for the public (K-12 and adult learners).

It is important that faculty incorporate innovative, hands-on, dynamic, active-learning methods into courses and keep current on new teaching strategies, and technologies.

Mentoring responsibilities are required.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Master’s degree in Biology. Teaching experience in Human Anatomy and Physiology in both laboratory and lecture are preferred.

Online teaching experience is desirable.

Candidates should be strongly committed to teaching at the undergraduate level.
