The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Medicine,
Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks applications for a BC/BE
cardiologist to join a dynamic academic program, with opportunities
to create a unique clinical practice and engage in teaching and
clinical research at a world-class university.

Clinical track duties:
Position responsibilities for patient care include inpatient
cardiovascular medicine service and night call for UW Health system
to include coverage at Meriter (a partner of UW Health); outpatient
cardiovascular service including clinic, echocardiography, nuclear
medicine, ECG interpretation and stress testing; and coverage at
clinical regional sites based on the needs of the division.

students, residents and fellows, and other service appropriate to

The incumbent will be expected to provide patient care, including

MD or DO required
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Fellows are encouraged to apply. Additionally, the candidate will
be BC/BE in internal medicine, cardiology and
echocardiography; have training in Nuclear cardiology, a strong
clinical background with demonstrated excellence in patient care
and teaching, and a commitment to scholarly achievement.
Candidates for appointment as Clinical Associate Professor or
Associate Professor (CHS) rank will demonstrate academic
credentials for the title per established SMPH guidelines.
License or Certificate:
Eligible for Wisconsin medical license
This position has been identified as a position of trust with
access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be
required to pass an initial Caregiver Check to be eligible for
employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and then every four
