Job Description Summary

The Department of Applied Mathematics at Florida Polytechnic University seeks candidates for an Associate Professor or Professor with broad teaching capacity that supports an undergraduate degree in Engineering Mathematics and has a research specialization focused on applications of mathematics, typically facilitated with advanced computing, and focused on highly topical and current engineering and applied science problems.

The Department of Applied Mathematics at Florida Polytechnic University has embarked on a new initiative in Engineering Mathematics since August 2019. The new undergraduate program provides the nexus of Florida Polytechnic University - wide activities in engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology and anticipates close collaborations between applied mathematics faculty and faculty members in other engineering and science departments.
