The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track position in the Department of Management and Decision Sciences at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, beginning Fall 2021.

The individual hired for this position will have responsibilities in teaching, research, and service. The teaching load is six courses per year and may include face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online deliveries at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We expect that this colleague will primarily teach courses in strategy, including the undergraduate capstone course in strategic management and a graduate course in global strategy; however, this colleague may be required to teach other management courses if needs arise. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to engage in impactful research resulting in quality peer reviewed journal publications. The position also requires service activities, including undergraduate student advising, contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes, and other service to the department, college, university, community and profession.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution in management or a related discipline. A.B.D. candidates with a clear plan for completion by August 2021 are also encouraged to apply. A candidate with a completed Ph.D. must have a consistent record of publication in quality outlets. Applicants must have abilities, skills and enthusiasm consistent with teaching excellence and instructional innovation.
