Director, Professional Development

The Director of Professional Development is responsible for leading continuing education and professional development programs offered by Lawrence Technological University (LTU) including continuing education programing, non-credit certificates, professional credentials, stacked credentials, workshops, and industry on-site training and teaching.. The director is further responsible for engaging LTU faculty to determine, develop, and deliver appropriate continuing education and professional development offerings based on faculty expertise and areas of concentration including curricular development, administration and presentation of university level non-degree educational programing across a wide range of subject matter and specialties. Further the director will be responsible to connect with industry to determine needed professional development programs and promote and enroll participants for continuing education and professional development programs offered by LTU.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.), a master’s degree or equivalent preferred; and three to five years or more of organizational leadership, entrepreneurial coaching, partnership development, grant management and business development experience, preferably in advanced technologies with a proven track record. Effective interaction and collaboration with university leadership, faculty, students, staff, and others.
