Location: Off Campus Location - Orofino/Kamiah/Lapwa, office located in Lapwai

Pay Range: $42,265 per year or higher depending on education and experience

Specific to this position, the Associate Director provides leadership for an organization focused on dialogue, strategy and action concerning college access and degree attainment for low-income and first-generation students. The Associate Director is charged with carrying out the mission and strategic plan of the organization through the effective and efficient management of operations, the development of opportunities, stakeholder relations, and strategic initiatives.


Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related area


Preferred Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Master’s in related field

- Experience in:
a. delivering college preparatory programs for low-income and first-generation students;
b. supervising minors under moderate to high risk circumstances;
c. public relations, presentations, and communications in a variety of formats (writing, digitally, and verbally);
d. teaching, supervising, or counseling non-traditional, under-represented students.

- Knowledge of:
a. higher education access and attainment issues and solutions for low-income populations;
b. local, state, and federal laws relating to the program/project area;
c. the socio-economic complexity of the target population;
d. risk management practices including the protection of minors.

- Ability to:
a. Work collaboratively on a team and across projects;
b. provide strong leadership to co-workers and project participants.
