The Enrollment Management unit is responsible for attracting, admitting, and enrolling eligible students, in accordance with university policies. The unit facilitates the development, implementation and monitoring of academic policies, practices and procedures to meet goals related to student retention, progression, performance, and graduation. The unit administers state, federal and institutional financial aid and scholarship programs and collaborates with other campus units in coordinating student transition initiatives that lead to positive adjustment, academic success and persistence to degree completion.

The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management/Director of Admissions provides high-level leadership, direction, motivation, and coordination of new student recruitment, retention, and financial aid strategies with proven data-driven results. The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management/Director of Admissions integrates all aspects of the university’s enrollment processes including the planning, implementation, and evaluation of effective student-centered, strategic recruitment and selection. The position is responsible for strategic planning, communication, budget management and daily office operations of all areas in Enrollment Management. Primary goals include developing a successful comprehensive strategic enrollment management plan that supports an integrative recruitment and admissions effort consistent with the university’s strategic goals and direction. This position will use effective data analysis to drive decisions supporting marketing and admissions strategies; achievement of enrollment goals and implementation of growth strategies to achieve enrollment targets; and the development of productive partnerships with internal academic departments and external influencers (parents, counselors, teachers, etc.) The position oversees an integrated team of admissions, financial aid, and transfer services professionals who are responsible for the successful enrollment of students into the university’s undergraduate and graduate programs.

Requirements:   A Master’s degree and three to five years of enrollment management experience in higher education in an administrative or leadership capacity with evidence of progressively increasing responsibility. Experience in CRM systems and a deep understanding of financial aid is preferred.
