About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
We seek to hire a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Pharmacy, Bouve College of Health Sciences through a Fellowship program with Moderna Therapeutics, Inc, Cambridge, MA. The candidate will be is responsible for the clinical pharmacology and pharmacometric deliverables for drug molecules in early and later stages of clinical development.

She/he will ontribute to evaluating various clinical pharmacology and modeling strategies and building clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics models to support dose selection at various stages of drug development. The candidate will support the Clinical Pharmacology project lead on programs with high quantitative intensity and will collaborate closely with Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics team on advanced pharmacology models.

In addition, the candidate will also work on submission of manuscripts and providing scientific seminars as well as mentoring and assisting junior researchers in the lab.

Qualifications:
The candidate must have a PhD degree in PhD with a focus in Pharmaceutical Sciences with in-depth training in pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, pharmaceutics or other related subdisciplines. Hands-on proficiency in using pharmacometrics tools including but not limited to NONMEM, R and Phoenix will be very valuable. The candidate should have broad understanding of pharmacometric principles and incorporation of M&S strategies and an ability to develop and deliver clear and concise presentations for both internal and external meetings

The candidate should have a strong publication record in pharmacometrics and an outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
