Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in the Department of Computing Sciences, beginning August 16, 2021.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in computer information technology, information systems, computer science, or a closely related technical field. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching programming concepts in Python or Java, networking, systems, database concepts, security, and hardware. Teaching responsibilities will include courses throughout the undergraduate curriculum, based on qualifications, with a particular emphasis on introductory programming courses. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to diversity, student learning, and inclusive pedagogy.

The Department of Computing Sciences offers one master’s degree, three undergraduate degrees, and seven minors of study. Our programs of study in both computer science and information systems are accredited by ABET/CAC. More information about the department is available at http://www.coastal.edu/computing
