Bowdoin has taken important safety measures during COVID -19. Staff are tested for COVID -19 twice a week, barriers have been put in place where necessary and Dining is currently take-out service only. All CDC protocols are followed. With guidance from Unit Manager, Head Chef and designated shift supervisor, provide service and maintain quality standards for the sanitation and ware washing process in the dining halls.
Education/Skills Requirements
Able to read and write at 9th grade level
Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
One year experience in sanitation required. Demonstrated reliability as well as neat and clean appearance. Serve Safe certification required
Standard Work Days and Hours
Varying shifts including frequent overtime, weekends, holidays and during weather emergencies. Required to work for major college events and weekends. Most common shifts are 12:30 pm – 8:30 pm or 7:00am – 3:00pm
