Fellowship Coordinator       Responsibilities

 

Fellowship Coordinator   Take on a key role within a world-class health organization. Provide high-level support that contributes to the success of an award-winning health system. UCan do all this and more at UCLA Health.   You will be responsible for coordinating a variety of important activities in support of the UCLA-VA Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program, including clerkship, grand rounds, and academic personnel. This will involve coordinating marketing and recruitment initiatives as well as the orientation, placement and evaluation of program fellows. You will research, plan and oversee the implementation of seminars/rotations, represent the Geriatrics division at evening, day and off-site educational events, and maintain/implement the policy and procedures manual for the program. You will also:   • Review financial statements and agency reports for the program • Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements for Graduate Medical Education • Arrange and attend monthly and quarterly committee meetings • Serve as liaison between fellows/faculty to relay programmatic information • Monitor MedHub evaluation tracking system for the Division of Geriatrics • Help faculty prepare and submit dossiers and credentialing paperwork • Assist distribute the Healthy Years newsletter and respond to inquiries regarding the newsletter   The position may involve working evenings and weekends.   Qualifications
