Baylor University’s Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a dynamic professional for the position of Biostatistician. This position will further the research and scholarship mission of the University by assisting Louise Herrington School of Nursing faculty and students in statistical consultation for research and scholarly projects.

Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, LHSON offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees through a Traditional program and FastBacc® (one year accelerated) program. LHSON also offers an online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Leadership and Innovation program, and online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program including tracks as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwifery and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. We also offer a separate DNP Executive Nursing Leadership degree program and DNP U.S. Army Anesthesia Nursing degree program. The U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) 2020 Best Graduate Schools ranked LHSON’s DNP program #41. USNWR’s 2020 Best Online Graduate Programs ranked LHSON’s MSN online degree program #41 and #8 in the specialty program category of Nursing Administration/Leadership. The Nurse Midwifery program is rated #10.

The School of Nursing recently celebrated its 110th anniversary and is energetically pursuing a second century of delivery of innovative programs to educate and equip new and advanced practice nurses. This is an exciting time at Baylor. The successful candidate for this position will also possess:

Qualifications
A Doctoral degree, three years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith is required. A Doctoral degree in Statistics or Biostatistics, and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
