Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), located on the North Shore of Long Island, is recruiting an Operations Manager to serve as the Post Award, Senior Grants Administrator with our Sponsored Programs/Grants Department.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a creative and motivated individual to actively promote the research, training and education mission of CSHL by assisting our investigators in reviewing and managing their research awards and grant portfolios. Candidates must have at least 5 years’ relevant experience in sponsored research award management, and have an in-depth knowledge of Federal laws, regulations and policies including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR § 200) requirements governing sponsored research support.

The Post Award Manager will oversee administrative processes and a team of professionals to ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions, including budget management, progress and financial reporting and subaward monitoring. The Post Award Manager serves as institutional liaison with funding organizations regarding post-award administration policies, financial and non-financial issues, and compliance related matters.

Position Requirements:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree (business, accounting, finance, science), Masters degree or Ph.D. preferred. Experience with Lawson and Huron ECC Software is a plus.
