Job Specific Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree required in STEM field. Experience in all aspects of contract management including proposal development, negotiation and post-award oversight. Experience providing logistical support and guidance to researchers pursuing sponsored funding. Project management expertise pertaining to research facilities, IP, professional development training and related work. Experience in marketing and developing project budgets.

DutiesProject management of the Mobility Research Center, Innovation
Center, Crash Test Center and Professional Training Development
Program. Duties to include marketing; CRM; website management;
execution of use agreements and contracts; purchasing and policy
development and related duties.
Customer Relationship Management of business and industry sponsors
of research and facility users. Oversight of pre-award activities
related to industry sponsored research contracts including
competitive negoation, proposal editing, budget development,
submission compliance with RFP requirements; record
management; submission and document tracking; and related duties as
required.
Oversight of post-award activities for industry research contracts
including, but not limited to, performing accounting-related
actives and tracking to support project expense management and
compliance with sponsor and university policies; coordination of
contractual amendments and non-financial agreements (including
NDAs, MTAs, MOUs, etc.); coordination of efforts
with OSR and appropriate KU business units and HR
department staff; oversight of award close-out processes.
Data management for OSR and Graduate Studies as required. Maintain
existing and new, data and record-management systems to comply with
reporting requests as required.
