Summary/Objective

The Director of Covid-19 Student Support Services will manage all aspects of COVID-19 quarantine and isolation experience for students, and liaison between university departments to ensure efficient response and services are provided to students.

Essential Functions
  1. Conduct regular and individualized follow-up to continuously engage with students in quarantine/isolation including daily food delivery. Communicate with students and parents as necessary related to questions or issues within Quarantine or Isolation.
  2. Establish a system to track students and spaces for the duration of quarantine/isolation including all logistical needs. Facilitate quarantine/isolation room check-in and check-out process for students. Create a daily event log and reporting structure to escalate and track student/parent issues or concerns to AVPs. Establish and follow-up on policies and procedures relating to COVID-19 quarantine/isolation including specific violations and signage.
  3. Meet regularly with AVP of Campus Life, AVP of Student Engagement, Director of Housing, Director of Residence Life, and Director of Student Health Center.
  4. Collaborate with other offices of the university as needed, including but not limited to Housing & Residence Life (HRL), Dining Services, University Police, and the Student Health Center.
  5. Provide after-hours/weekend coverage for case management if needed.


Work Environment
  • This position is a reporting to the AVP of Campus Life and AVP of Student Engagement in the Office of Campus Life.

  • This is a temporary six-month renewable position. Availability for after-hour and weekend response is required. Live-in option can be negotiated if desired.


Required Education and Experience
  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience


Preferred Education and Experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experiences, such as project management

  • Thoroughness in Reviewing Work: Ability to review one’s own and others work and information to ensure completeness and accuracy; carefully prepare for meetings and presentations; organize information or materials for others; follow up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled; and set up procedures to ensure high quality of work.
  • Student Services Skills: Ability to serve as bridge to services, intervene and/or advocate on students’ behalf with offices across campus to support needs, drive engagement and empower students to achieve their goals.
