Responsible for creating and implementing professional development and training programs for college faculty and staff.

- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree in Organization Development or Human Resources Training and Development preferred.
- Two years of professional experience – organizational development consulting, instructional design/training experience.

- Oversees instructional design projects for the unit including instructor led and online training programs. May provide facilitation services to individual units and departments.
- Manages the Professional and Organizational Development’s portal site.
- Designs, develops and implements communication strategy to support the launch and create awareness of various learning programs.
- Assist Director and/or Manager with conducting, analyzes training needs assessments, and develops/updates annual training calendar, lesson plans, and curriculum based on results.
- Provides guidance of the Learning Management System to support staff.
- Conduct needs analyses to support growth and development of staff to meet the needs of the strategic goals and objectives of the college.
- Provide direction of content development projects to support professional development experiences that foster growth and retention of employees throughout the college community.
- Assist with managing project plans, program management, implementation and evaluation of all related Professional and Organizational Development programs/training content. Includes designing, developing and implementing communication strategy to support the launch and create awareness of various learning programs and learning experiences.
- Develop training strategies to support the implementation of new or changed systems/processes and prepare the organization for change driven by learning initiatives.
- Provide oversight to project and vendor management for training needs.
- Participates in appropriate professional growth and development activities/conferences.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Applicant must be available to work Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The work schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the department.
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
