The Radiography concentration at VCU Radiation Sciences seeks a part-time lab instructor to teach laboratory courses related to radiographic procedures and radiographic imaging. The instructor will utilize appropriate teaching strategies; work in collaboration with concentration faculty and the department chair in accordance with concentration goals. The instructor will also be responsible for student evaluation and counseling.

Required Qualifications

• Current radiography certification by ARRT
• 3 years clinical experience as a diagnostic radiographer
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher
• 10 years’ experience as a diagnostic radiographer
• 3 years’ experience as a collegiate educator in radiologic sciences
