Qualifications:
The Principles of Chemistry (CHEM 002) provides an introduction to topics in general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. This course is designed primarily for kinesiology students. Topics include matter and measurement, atoms and compounds; organic compounds; solutions; biomolecules; metabolism. Lecture 4 days per week. This course will be taught remotely with the option of flex.

This course will meet remotely on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 - 9:05 am during the 2021 spring term.

Candidates must live in California, have a Ph.D. in a relevant area of chemistry and should have a successful record of teaching experience in chemistry at the undergraduate level and experience with online/hybrid instruction.
