Position Introduction
The Department of Italian at Vassar College invites applications for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor position for the academic year 2021-22.

Position Description
Our ideal candidate is an expert in Italian Medieval and Renaissance literature and culture with a secondary focus in science and information, environmental or gender studies. A specialization in Dante studies is preferred. Demonstrated excellence in language pedagogy as well as experience teaching Italian literature and culture in Italian and English are required. Teaching load is five courses a year.
