Salary Minimum: $43,785
Salary Maximum: $75,840

Job Description:
This position exists to develop, organize and implement programs in the Twin Cities, throughout southern Minnesota and other Midwest locations that will substantially increase enrollment and retention of underrepresented students and students of color. This position will work with the Office of Admissions and the Office of Multicultural Affairs to coordinate high school recruitment schedules as well as working with community agencies and junior colleges.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University (conferred on an official transcript at the time of application).
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in higher education.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience working in recruitment and retention activities with students of color at the University level.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of underrepresented groups in higher education.
  • Ability to collect data and prepare a report; and use a personal computer for compiling reports, email and word processing.
  • Ability to work with persons from various ethnic and cultural groups.


Other Requirements:
Work safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.
