About the Opportunity:


Responsibilities:
The Laboratory of Neuroanatomy and Behavior is hiring a research technician to assist with multiple projects examining the neural mechanisms underlying sex differences in learning and memory in rats. Responsibilities include animal handling and behavior testing, as well as a range of wet lab activities, such as immunohistochemistry, fluorescent microscopy, tissue sectioning, solution preparation, and basic lab upkeep. The Shansky lab strives to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, and applicants from underrepresented backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
Competitive applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in neuroscience or closely related field and at least 1 year of experience in a rodent neuroscience lab.
