Art: Assistant Professor to teach/in Studio Art with a specialization in Ceramics beginning August 2021. Responsibilities will include specialized instruction in ceramics, oversight of the ceramic’s facility, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level and advising in Studio Art; active research agenda of significance to the field; and service requirements such as committee work and program administration. An ideal candidate will understand, and commitment to, cultural diversity and the ability to work with diverse individuals and groups.
Required: MFA or equivalent terminal degree in Studio Art with a specialization in Ceramics or related area by date of appointment.
Desired: Consideration may be given to candidates with substantial professional experience in the field, teaching experience and an established record of excellence in the production of ceramic art.
