Assistant Professor of Public Health
St. John Fisher College, an independent, liberal arts
institution in the Catholic tradition located in Rochester, New
York, seeks nominations and applications for a tenure-track,
assistant professor position in Public Health/Public Health Policy.
The successful candidate will contribute to graduate and
undergraduate courses in Public Health as well as the Core
curriculum. Preference will be given to candidates whose research
explores the social determinants of health and policy that address
health disparities within the United States. The position is
available beginning August 2021.

The School of Arts and Sciences at St John Fisher College serves all undergraduate students through 33 programs, the Core general education curriculum, and pre-professional requirements. The School provides all the liberal arts offerings required for baccalaureate degrees, thus providing critical skills and perspectives across a wide range of disciplines. New faculty will arrive at an exciting time in our College’s history as we launch a new interdisciplinary Core curriculum, and the College looks forward to the transformative impact these faculty will have.
• DRPH, PhD or ABD in Public Health or Public Health Policy or related field with a MPH.
• Ability to teach a wide range of courses at the graduate and undergraduate level.
• Demonstrated ability to be an excellent teacher.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and be available to start teaching in fall 2021.
